Required Experience: 12-15 years of relevant experience in a in a medium/large scale hosiery manufacturing concern.
Location: Plant 5 - Faisalabad
Required Qualification: MBA / Bachelors in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineer from an HEC/PEC recognized institute.

This position plans Knitting to pack functions for entire division, monitors & controls end to end knitting, toe closing, processing and finishing operations in the assigned division. These activities are carried out with the objective to ensure optimum utilization of knitting capacity, minimum wastage of raw material, maintaining the product quality and achievement of production targets (loading schedules, quality standards and cost). Sound knowledge of knitting machines, raw materials especially yarn, resource planning techniques, safety practices, quality standards and concepts and tools related to Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, PDCA, 5s, TPM etc.) is required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordination with the team to analyze weekly plan and provides guidance to the team in case of any issue or conflict.
- Preparation of micro plans on the basis of the plans shared for resource management, attend per-production meetings with Merchandising, PPC, Quality, Procurement & Supplies and Marketing to discuss and analyzes the forecast of next two weeks production in the meetings.
- Coordination with Procurement & Supplies to discuss issues related to timely delivery of raw materials, Liaises with Merchandizing to raise issues related to the quality of the packaging material and its timely delivery, Investigate the reasons for bottlenecks being faced that results in WIP inventory creation, Suggest efficient solution to reduce WIP and bottlenecks and Interact with QA to discuss issues related to quality control and quality assurance.
- Ensures that preventive measures are being taken to avoid any breakdowns, coordinate with Technical and Engineering teams for troubleshoot any breakdown of machines, Keep follows up and guides the team on execution of maintenance schedule, Discuses escalated maintenance issues with engineering/technical team and follows up for timely support in case breakdowns.
- Ensure the receiving of waste from boarding in order to identify the defects produced by the respective departments, Hold B-Grade as per defined SOP and offer to merchant for B-grade order. Ensure the reworking of socks and forward to Operations department (Finishing) for adjustment in running orders, Maintain the relevant data in Excel Sheet, Manage sorted waste disposal to store through Hosiery Management system (HMS).
- Ensure compliance with Company EHS policies and practices within the department through close coordination EHS and Take initiatives to conserve natural resources and environment at departmental level.
