Roshan Packages Limited is looking to hire Manager Sourcing for our Supply Chain Department at Corrugation Unit – Sundar Industrial Estate. This position is responsible for all our sourcing activities by recognizing products and services required.
To be successful in this role, you have to work for the improvement and betterment of our sourcing strategies by examining the company’s expenses, new opportunities, and new possible partnerships.
Core Responsibilities:
- Create strategic sourcing plans for smooth functioning of the department, originate flexible strategies and secure profitable deals
- Understand the company’s requirements and needs by carrying out thorough market research
- Maintain friendly relationship with suppliers and vendors and familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
- Ability to source new vendors and negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
- Create sourcing reports and documentation
- Achieve maximum efficiency by carrying out various outsourcing methods
- Estimate cost by analyzing and bench-marking techniques, aware of latest market trends and industry
- Evaluate risks and adopt methods to minimize risk and decrease expenditure
- Manage timely deliveries and determine the quantity required
- Negotiate on the pricing such that it fits in company’s budget
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (Total 5 to 8 years of experience with minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience as a Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager) particularly in B2B domain
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, networking skills and negotiation skills
- Preferred industry: Packaging, Manufacturing or any B2B manufacturing concern
